Q. How does
Rent-To-Own Work ?
Rent-To-Own is a product that was established in the United States over
20 years ago. Currently more than 2 million Americans rent
products from Rent-To-Own businesses each year and there is a growing
number of Australians choosing Rent-To-Own as a way to enjoy the things
in life they need.
The concept is simple. If you rent a car from us for
approximately 18 months then at the end of that period we give you the
car to keep. We are a rental company so there is no offer to buy
or purchase at the end.

Q. How do I
apply and how long will it take?
The process is quick and easy. After your initial enquiry, one of
our consultants will call you to discuss your needs. If we can
help you, it shouldn't take more than about 15 minutes on the phone to
go through the qualification process.
The process is as follows:-
1. Enquire - Submit your contact details via this web site, email
us or give us a call.
2. Qualify -
Our consultants will take you
through a very quick and simple qualification process over the telephone
to assess your affordability. They simply look at what you earn each
week then look at your expenses and work out how much you have left over
each week or fortnight to put toward a car.
3. ENJOY - After you qualify, we will deliver the car to
your doorstep. There is a small amount of paper work and you
are on your way.
Things you will need. When we deliver your car we will need
you to provide a current bank statement and copy of a current driver
license.

Q. How soon
can I get a car ?
Provided we have a car in stock that will suit your needs, you have
completed the qualification process and you have the necessary delivery
fee (see "How much will it cost" below), we can usually have
a car delivered to your door within 24 hours. |

Q. How much will it cost?
The cost of the car will depend largely on the type of car you want.
Rental prices range from $90 per week for a small manual car to over
$200 per week for a luxury full sized car. For every rental,
we do require a
delivery fee of between $300 and $1500 when we deliver the
car.
We also charge administrative fees for processing any Fine or Toll
notices that we may receive due to your use of the car or in relation to
dishonored Direct Debit payments. |
Q. How long do I need to
rent for ?
Our rental contracts are made on a week to week basis. If you rent
a car from us for 18 months, we will give it to you to keep (Please
note that this is subject to us receiving all weekly rental charges and
administrative fees if applicable). |

How do I pay for the car ?
Currently we only accept payment from your nominated bank account by Direct Debit. |
Q. Can the Rental
Agreement be cancelled ?
Yes. You can cancel the Rental Agreement for any reason, at any time and
return the car to us. We may cancel the Rental Agreement if there
is a breach of the Terms & Conditions. |
Q. Can I swap cars
throughout the Rental ?
Yes it is possible for you to swap cars throughout the Rental Period.
In this instance we may require you to commence a new Rental Agreement and pay another
delivery fee. |

Q.
What type of cars do you have ?
At this stage we mainly have sedans and some station wagons. Keep and
eye on the "Our Cars" section of the web site for cars that are
currently available. If you can't see the type of car you are after
contact us and we will see if we can find something to suit your needs.
Please note that it is difficult to find quality used Commercial
vehicles
and 8 seat 'Tarago' style cars. Because of this we are currently
unable to supply these type of cars.

Q. How
does the Insurance work ?
Every car in our fleet has full comprehensive insurance. If you
have an accident you will be required to complete an accident report
form and assist in providing information for the claim. Depending
on fault, you may also have to pay an 'excess' before we can process the
claim.
Please note that Learner drivers and drivers aged under 21 years are not
covered to drive our cars. |
Q. Is there
an age limit ?
Yes. Due to insurance restrictions you must be over 21 years of age to
rent from us. |
Q. What happens if my car breaks down ?
We are committed to ensuring that your car remains in a usable, safe and
roadworthy condition. Please see our Breakdown
Policy for details and procedures in the event of a mechanical
problem. |
Q. What are
my responsibilities during the Rental ?
When you rent a car from us there are a few things you will be expected
to look after. We do not pay for these items:-
Registration - Each vehicle comes
with a minimum of three months registration. You are expected to
pay for re-registration when it falls due.
Servicing - You must ensure that the vehicle is serviced as per
the manufacturers specifications.
Items subject to wear and tear - Items such as tyres, windscreen
wipers, batteries, oils, fluids and filters. Please see our
Breakdown Policy under "Items not covered"
